Eric Stevens was born on June 19, 1972 in Sacramento, California. His family moved to Chicago, then Delaware and finally Connecticut, where he went to high school. He attended Wheaton College in Illinois as a literature major. While there, he became interested in theater arts. He moved to NY and appeared in productions in the Village and Lower East Side. He completed his graduate work, while honing his acting skills, at the prestigious Alabama Shakespeare Festival. Eric then returned to New York to pursue his career.
